Student Testimonial by Ng Zhi Fu

โ€œI was a pupil from Chinese primary school before joining Welton Academy at Primary 6. It was easy to adapt to the environment here because of the tremendous support from the teachers and friends. I am thankful to have Mr. Ken and Mr. Raymond who had guided me through my Cambridge Primary Checkpoint last year. They teach whole heartedly and are able to make complex ideas easy to understand. In addition to benefitting from the strong academic support provided by the Academy, I am now more socially confident as well.โ€ – Ng Zhi Fu

Zhi Fu is our current Year 7 pupil who passed all the three subjects in his Cambridge Primary Checkpoint last year with flying colours:
โœ… Mathematics – 5.9 out of 6.0 (Excellent)
โœ… Science – 5.2 out of 6.0 (Excellent)
โœ… English – 3.4 out of 6.0 (Good)

New Addition to Our After-School Activities List: Japanese Lessons

Besides offering English; Mandarin Chinese and Malay as our regular language school subjects, we have now incorporated Japanese as one of our interest-based after-school activities. The Japanese lessons will be conducted in a regular and systematic manner at Welton Academy.

We believe that learning another foreign language will provide our pupils a competitive edge in the future. This is especially so when Japan has always been one of the largest economies in the world.

Trip to National Planetarium – 24th October, 2019

Our pupils were able to explore the various exhibitions on display. Among the exhibits was an Anti-Gravity Room, which allowed them to experience the challenges of travelling in a space shuttle. There was also a roller coaster-like Space Pod that flipped riders upside down and all over in an immersive 3D ride that took them to all the planets in the solar system.

๐ŸŒŸ Top 3 Reasons Your Child Will Benefit from Our Programmes:

โœ… Experienced and Passionate Teachers
Having paper qualification is not enough to make a good teacher. While all our tutors have the professional qualifications in their own fields – law; medical science; chemical engineering; actuarial science; linguistics; accounting and finance – they are all experienced and passionate about teaching. They work closely to make sure that they build up children to their fullest potential and to see each and every child has the platform to succeed.

โœ… Small Class Size
As we keep our student-teacher ratio low, our teachers are able to give individual attention to each and every student throughout their regular schooling hours. Hence, our pupils are able to progress according to their own paces.

โœ… Safe and Conducive Learning Environment
We are committed to consistently develop a learning environment where students feel motivated to study. To make sure both our campuses are safe, only authorised entry is allowed. Access card is provided to every pupil in order to gain access to our campuses. Our schools are also under 24 hours CCTV surveillance.
